Our attorneys have represented clients on the Outer Banks and throughout Northeastern North Carolina in legal matters arising in both business and personal life. Our attorneys have also handled matters in North Carolina, South Carolina and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Rose, a trial lawyer, maintains a very active general litigation practice seeking justice for his clients. He concentrates his practice mainly in the area of plaintiffs’ litigation. Mr. Rose represents individuals and business entities in Federal and State court cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, bodily injury, employee/employer disputes, workers compensation and construction litigation.

Mr. Rose began his practice on the Outer Banks in 1993. Prior to moving to the Outer Banks, he concentrated his practice in defending individuals and companies that were being sued. Mr. Rose dealt directly with insurance claims representatives, from various insurance companies and worked daily with attorneys’ trained and skilled in defending lawsuits. As a result, he has gained a unique perspective from both a defense and plaintiffs point of view when investigating a case, preparing for trial or negotiating a pre-trial settlement.

Mr. Harrison concentrates his practice in residential real estate transactions, asset purchases, business acquisition and sales, corporate law and employment and labor law. Prior to his admission to the North Carolina Bar in 1996, Mr. Harrison was associated with the Richmond, Virginia law firm of Williams, Mullen, Christian and Dobbins.

Mr. Gilreath focuses his active litigation practice in the areas of divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, adoption, alimony and, child support. He also assists the firm’s clients in with their district court civil litigation needs. An experienced criminal defense lawyer, Mr. Gilreath began his legal career as an Assistant Solicitor in the State of South Carolina (First Circuit Solicitor’s Office). He is available to assist clients navigate through the criminal justice system. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Gilreath is also available to advise clients with their estate planning or probate needs.
